ICoM is a multi-institutional effort led by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The research objective of the ICoM project is to deliver a robust predictive understanding of coastal evolution that accounts for the complex, multi-scale interactions among physical, environmental, and human systems.

I'm a co-task lead of the following tasks:
- Land model intercomparison: This task is focused on understanding and evaluating uncertainties in modeling soil hydrologic processes.
- Land-River-Ocean model coupling: This task is focused on extending the current one-way coupling between the DOE's E3SM land-river-ocean component to include two-way interaction.
